Fertita is still on the clock. If he doesn't Make a trade or add another significant player by the deadline, he's definitely worse. Now is the time to pay the tax

Yes Drexler was important but you can’t have one without two
And regardless of what an a hole Patterson was
    He deserves credit
For resigning Dream , and still did it besides the tension
    Drafted Horry and Cassell
    Traded for Maxwell
    Signed Mario Elie
    Fired Chaney for Rudy

you know for sure Les didn’t want any Houston skyline on the jerseys

that would ruin the image he wanted which was China’s team

Think about Hakeems last year and how he got traded to Toronto cause Les didn’t pay him thank you money like Kobe or Dirk got

Yao had one foot left and no way in hell he gets traded

Les would trade his entire family before Yao Ming

And Yao got his number retire so damn fast

Tilman talks too much...his big mouth has made things worse. Les at least knew when to keep his mouth shut!!

Oh I’m not disagreeing with any of that. I think you know how I feel about all of what you posted.

Jury is still out on who the better owner will be though.

Like him or not, Les helped make the Rockets brand much larger than it was. He was also forward thinking when it came to analytics and trying to get ahead of the game. Just hasn’t totally worked out like everyone had hoped.

    To me
The best moment was the two championships and the people of Houston coming together
    Driving down Westheimer or Richmond
    I didn’t care about China
    Or Stephen A Smith
    Or Max Kellerman
Or people talking about Michael Jordan
Or player only fans like the ones Tmac brought over
Certainly not the dumb Lin fans

    it was so pure

Les didn’t pay Barkley what he was owed for helping the team

I can’t imagine what that would be like now

what if tilman stiffed Westbrook like $10 mill?

but nobody does that as an nba owner
    Except for Les Alexander

and Barkley? He talks to millions of fans every year on tv

it’s not shocking to see fans outside Houston that have a negative image thanks to TNT

Yep and I was there soaking it all in.

Unfortunately things have changed drastically across the board. Mainstream sports media is garbage, people care more about following players than specific teams for the most part and star players have little to no loyalty so it’s tougher building winning teams.

Times have changed. I’m a little soured on the NBA. Doesn’t mean I’m going to stop watching. I will always love and root for the Rockets, I just feel like the league is in some weird cycle.

Jumping on the Tilman is cheap bandwagon... I've been to every home game including preseason and even though I miss most halftimes, it seems to me I've seen the local dance studio kids every game so far. Now I could be mistaken (again I always leave seat) but so far I can't remember seeing an outside entertainer like I we used. The Red Panda cup flipper/stacker, the balancing acts, the gumby bending guy, etc...

Can someone help me out... Is Tilman so cheap (lean) that he cut paid for HT entertainment?

At least Les allowed you to bid on flashseats!! And I don't ever recall seeing commercials for Les shilling his own book or ads on the rockets website to buy Les book
