Simply put...... one shtty quarter has been our undoing in the last 3 seasons. We will outplay a team for 3/4 of a game, but a single quarter will be so bad and disjointed that the L rears its ugly face again. So much is in our control, and yet we just let it waste away with poor D, inconsistent rebounding, no offensive gameplan, and no adjustments to our opponent. I want to believe in MDA, but I have to believe that the above rests on his shoulders. Here's to a good 2nd half, but that 1st was scarier than anything I saw on Halloween.

Everything else you say besides limit the mid range shots isnt really moreyball. Morey is the GM not the coach he just told everyone the analytics which show mid range shots are bad. Whether the pace is low or high whether they take 3s or 2s, that is all up to the players and coach. at least when Cp3 was here injured all the time, he was probably yelling at our players, keeping them in check. The only person Harden jaws with on the floor consistently are the refs when they don't give him calls. Westbrook almost never talks unless it's in a scuffle on the court.

Man I hope so, I can deal with missing shots at times. But I hate lack of effort and fundamentals, that is totally within your control. The effort got better the second quarter, if we can go on some runs we'll see, it's tough.
