at the end of the day, it's just a game bro. We're fortunate to be witnessing a great astros team in the world series again in the last 3 years and rep for the city. You never know when these opportunities will happen. whatever is going on, keep your head up and take care of yourself first and foremost. Go stros

    Agree
And look, Verlander gives up one run in the first off a bleeder and seeing eye single. Little bad luck there.

gave up a HR to Soto... who already has two against Cole in the series.

having said all that it was 3-2 when Verlander left the game.

    very winnable at that point

That’s a 5.4 era through 5 innings. That’s not good enough to beat a better post season pitcher in Stephen Strasburg.

I don't believe MLB requires players to address the media or conduct post-game interviews. I believe Greinke could refuse to be interviewed if he wanted to, but it could also be stipulated in his contract to provide a certain amount of time to the media.

Look if Cole doesn’t get shelled for 5 runs in game one we aren’t having this conversation.
It’s a team game... first to 4 wins.

And virtually all of the analysts are picking against us.

Max Scherzer has been the best pitcher in baseball for this decade

He now has a chance to win things in game 7 in the last game of the decade

I envy y’all in Houston. I’m trying not to snap at people in the office. It would be easier being around Astros fans or at least people who know what’s going on.

My sphincter is full on tight as a snare drum. I really want this win. REALLY. I really believe in my heart the nat's pulled some shenannigans with Scherzer with or without his knowledge on treatment to get him pushed to 7 as it was their best path to make it happen the second they lost game 4. That needs to backfire.

I'm too invested...emotionally and physically. Therefore, I use my proven formula of buffering the game on the DVR and flipping to watch the parts I want to...along with some live parts. Otherwise, I scoreboard watch and I watch something else on the other DVR buffer. Yes, dual buffer is my friend. I always watch sports like this these days. It's rare that I watch an entire game live as it unfolds. Do I really want to see the Nats score? No, I sure the hell don't. I didn't catch (see) any of their runs scoring yesterday. It keeps me sane. LOL

I didn't f**king sleep last night. I'm going to be drinking caffeinated soda and eating junk food tonight hoping for the best.
