if he is going to shoot like this off the bench, we aren’t getting good bench scoring anyway. He played well very well last year as a starter, and now is looking like the awful EG of 2017/2018 off the bench. And don’t say this is simply a slump because we have already seen him shoot poorly an entire season off the bench. Maybe getting back with the starters is what he needs. Plus I think House getting more opportunities with the second unit could be a good thing.
At what point do the Rockets get a real starting SF? I’m tired of midget ball. EG can’t rebound for sh*t. U got him playing 30 min at SF grabbing 1 or 2 boards. EG got paid and then comes out like this to start the season. U hate to see it. He is getting wide open looks and bricking. It would be 1 thing if he wasn’t getting great shots by coming off the bench, but he is, and is out here shooting like Home Ryno. Why can’t we call it a slump? U do realize EG was shooting like trash for most of last season until March even tho he had been starting the majority of games until then right? He had to shot 45% from 3 in March on the most amount of threes he took in any month that season, and 46% from 3 in April in order to bring his percentage up to 36%...
3 games guys. EG was put into the starting lineup out of necessity last year. Are we going to forget how good EG has looked as a 6th man all the years prior? Plus, House has been playing well. Probably the only consistent player on the team so far.
lol I mean, I would certainly prefer better, but he will do for now I view getting a legit big that can play the 4 or be a small ball 5 as the most pressing need with SF upgrade with length right behind it frontcourt depth is an issue...running 3 guards ain’t the answer to our defensive and rebounding issues EG is about as impressive as prison food on the boards
Eric Gordon is garbage most of the time. But he seems to come up big in big game situations on both ends so we love him.
This!!! Im all for trading EG to the Pacers EG/Tucker/Nene for Myles Turner, TJ Warren, pick Capela/Turner Turner/Warren House/Warren Harden/Rivers Westbrook/Rivers Dont get me wrong I absolutely love what PJ brings but he is just too small We would get destroyed by the Lakers and the 76ers The above squad can take anyone EG and Turner both return to where they played college ball Indiana Sabonis Tucker Gordon Olidipo Brogdon
House is a good SF. I'm totally satisfied with starting him for now. If Gordon only plays well when he's starting, trade him for a better piece.
there is no way in hell tucker is getting traded....Harden's homeboy. He's going to be back next year and for the rest of his career. no one can do what he does at that low price tag.
House played excellent in game 1 and 2. Game 3 his shooting came back down to earth but it’s a better balance to the rotation HOF
