    There are so many variables that you ignore when you make deflections and loose ball recoveries a metric for hustle. Deflections are similar to steals. Play the passing lanes, and you'll get more steals and deflections. It isn't a sign of effort. In fact lazy defenders attempt to poke the ball out once they are beat which Harden does on the regular especially on transition defense. Lazy defenders use their hands more than their feet on defense and Harden rarely uses his feet on defense and relies on swatting and deflecting the ball rather than keeping up with his man.

    Loose balls are a product of the Rockers jacking up historic amount of threes which generate long rebounds and loose ball recoveries. Lol of you think Harden is a type of player like PJ Tucker who dives for loose balls on the regular.

    Other than Tucker, should've just left it at that, Harden's issue is that he puts up by the far the most volume of shots *especially 3's* than anyone else on the team (13 3's a game so far) when he's shooting as pathetic as he has is just terrible offense.

    Harden got this 3 point attempts down from 18 to 14. And got his makes up from 2 to 3.
