Spurs did it for Tim Duncan when Robinson got hurt, so are the Worriers taking advantage of their adversity?

Why sign DLo then? Why would DLo agree to a year wasted when he had other teams he could have gone to? Spurs did it because their only star was injured, the Warriors still have 3 "stars" that are healthy.

4 9-figure players and a brand new 1.4 billion dollar stadium, lets just tank so LaVar Ball can sit courtside :D

D.Lo couldn't sign with Minnesota (which is apparently the team he wanted to sign for from the start) cause the Wolves didn't have cap space, and as soon as he got sign & traded to the Warriors rumors about him getting traded in the future started to float. Considering the Warriors lost two wings (Durant and Iguodala), don't be surprised if they trade D.Lo to Minnie for Covington and Teague (expiring). They might very well have already agreed to a deal, which might be also another reason why we couldn't get Covington in the first place, but this is just a random guess.

They need all the refs to continue their dynasty, everyone in the stands.

u don’t open up a brand new arena charging ridiculous prices for tickets and then tank

if Steph’s that guy, they should be a playoff team no doubt...we’ll see what happens

GSW tanking for picks wouldnt make sense given the ages of Curry (31), klay (29 coming off acl) and draymond (29). That'd be like the Rox tanking for a lotto pick to pair with Harden. Lotto picks dont generally become instant contributors, like who among this year's draft would have helped this GSW team win more games?

They are just flat out bad, much worse than expected which is what happens when you lose top 5 player KD, top 10 player Klay and then smart bench guys like Kevon Looney, Shaun Livingston, Jonas Jerebko and Jordan Bell. Instead, they have Marquis Chriss and Russell out there lmao.

the value of a lotto pick for them would be as a trade piece for a good player

Ok by then Curry will be 32, the reality is if you're a contender you can't be wasting time getting lotto picks.

I agree, but what are they gonna do? This season is lost, they won’t do anything of note. It would be better for them to get a high pick in order to try and get reinforcements for next season. I hope they struggle and get demolished in the 1st round or a low end lotto pick in the 12-14 range. All I’m saying is that they wouldn’t be looking to add a rookie to their roster hoping to contribute if they got a really good pick, they would trade that pick for the best player they can get.

    I’ll just say this.

I believe they will still make the playoffs and surprise people.

However if they don’t make the playoffs; Curry needs to be getting all kinds of ****. He is supposedly a top 3-5 player and the Warriors still have some talent... and he can’t lead them to the playoffs? He deserves the criticism.

You dont have to worry there is no chance they get a top pick too many scrub teams in the NBA for that to happen. At least they have 3 all stars other teams dont even have 1.

Look at the Knicks and Hornets rosters for example just trash from top to bottom. GSW will still win vs teams like these.
