I think tonight’s game is one of the reason why we made this trade, when CP has a off night, this is what you gonna get, when WB has a bad game, he gives you close to a triple double (low fg% though).

Harden let CP rest all regular season as he carried the load, and he still couldn’t bring it in the playoffs...at that point, I was done

aging, and will only get worse

Over/under 20 games missed this year?

CP is what he is an aging PG that will have some solid games and a lot of pretty average one moreso than not.

Yeah this is why I'm ok with the WB trade. WB isnt the best and has so many flaws, but as is he is still better than Cp3 at this point in their careers.

Also Rui Hachimura looks like the steal of the draft def a lot more polished than what people expected.

    Chris Paul (vs WSH): 6pts, 4ast, 2rb, 5TO. 3-9 FGs, 0-2 3ptrs, 0-3 FTs. -7 in 30 mins.

Y-I-K-E-S! CP wanted no part of playing in this game.

While we are at it, lets check in on Ariza

Ariza (vs POR): 0pts, 1rb, 2ast. 0-4 FGs, 0-3 3ptrs. -12 in 21 minutes. Ariza out here just collecting checks.

I haven't seen CP3 play. After reading this thread though, I think I have a pretty good idea about how he's done and what it means for our trade for Russell Westbrook.

CP3 trade for Westbrook was the worst decision and trade ever in the history of the NBA. CP3 will win MVP and NBA Championship MVP as well as win a ring this year. Then, it was the greatest most amazing trade that the Rockets have ever accomplished. CP3 is completely useless. It's amazing any team will even consider allowing him to step on the court wearing their uniform.

I think we have conclusive evidence that both of these takes are true and absolute. The sample size we have leaves no doubts whatsoever.

CP3 does not deserve that kind of disrespect. Say what you will about his bloated contract or his untimely injuries, but Paul played his heart out as a Rocket.

It is sad watching him play. He's a shell of what he used to be.

He simply can't take over a game consistently like a superstar or even star should be able to do.

He struggles to put together multiple big games in a row.

Still a solid player, but not strong enough to be a #2, especially for $40 million a year.
