This duo could be making the Playoffs. Doncic balling like a 27 yr old star already. Defense is still a problem.
Man, Porzingis is an absolute elite rim-protector. I remember when he was still with the Knicks, his DFG% at rim was on par with guys like Gobert and Embiid. Really hope he can remain injury free. That duo is really fun to watch...
If they get another top-tier player with 3 point shooters and more defenders. They're going to be a proooblem. They'll be climbing the standings faster.
Kristops and fat boy are great, sucks they're with the Mavs...and i still have the feeling Giannis might end up there.
Well Luka and Porzingis are def a great combo however Porzingis' leg problems are a long term concern from what I've seen these leg injuries are like a dam breaking, once you get a major one you are injury prone moving forward.
That trade will, without question, go down as one of the most lopsided trades ever. Similar to our Harden trade.
Cuban did it again. After Dirk I was hoping for a extended period of Mavs futility. Turns out it only lasted a few years. With Luka and Porzingis, the Mavs have a legit 1-2 punch for the next 10 years. It will only take a few smart personnel moves to round out the team and then the Mavs will be contenders. Sadly, after Harden retires I don't have too much faith that the Rockets will be successful any longer. Not with Tillman who is probably one of the worst owners in the NBA. I doubt Morey is going to stay too long either. Once Morey leaves and Harden declines or gets traded, Rockets look to be a mediocre franchise for a long time.
Doncic can though, he is trending to be one of those allround talents, who does it all but has to shore up his Defense. Most NBA ready young guy since Lebrawn, and 2nd and 3rd yr Harden. Trae Young might get there.
If Porzingis manages to overcome that post-December crash he goes through this team is dangerous. I think if they can somehow manage to get Iggy for Lee and 2 2nds that would balance the roster out moreso.
Luka's defense is much improved from last year, mostly because of better conditioning. Watching whole games helps understand that.
