I post because it ANNOYS u. Many of you are irrational. Don't understand the history of any of the Houston teams. Don't understand what it is to endure the hardships of fandom. You whine about dumb ****. You see it most on the Texans' board, but it is also on the Rockets section too. Absolutely hilarious stuff. So, I don't care what u think. I don't care if annoys you. Sigh. I've watched Houston Teams Choke. Luv Ya Blue didn't Choke. Pittsburgh sadly was just better. (although White Shoes call may have changed that) Didn't see either the 81 series with the Rox or the Astros, so can't honestly say. 86 Rox went against Bird's Celts, which is considered one of the best of all time. And then the NBA sabotaged us for a few years (look it up) 86 Astros... F***ing Dave Smith. THAT was a choke job. And then you had an Oilers team that couldn't get over the hump. 35-3 solidified the "Choke City" name. I believe it was Eddie Sefko. He hated this town. I met him at a bar in the 90's and after we spoke was wondering why the hell he wrote sports here. He moved to Dallas, and is now worthless. Ironically, that fat **** got us our "Clutch City" moniker, which I believe we all know. Bigs & Bags were awful in the playoffs, so that definitely made it skew more to the "Choke" side, and God love them, the Texans first round exits aren't helping. But the 2019 Astros are the antithesis of anything relating to "Choke." WE ARE THE BETTER TEAM. And that is why you play 7.
