Good. I didn't agree with MDA when he said Eric was going to start. House is the better rebounder and Eric can provide scoring in droves off the bench.

What??? EG's been a solid defender for us in the playoffs.

I like it. Need some size on the wing. Hopefully House will produce at at least his contract level.

    Showcase House for trade.

Need better length and defense at 3/4 spot.

All of the minutes that Harden is off the floor WB and Gordon should be on the floor.

Think this helps make that happen.

Nah I used to think that but all the impact stats say otherwise. He’s been getting absolutely smoked on defense in the postseason the past two years.

It doesn't matter who starts. I fully expect Gordon to be playing the last few minutes of the game.

Good luck winning a championship without defense and rebounding.

What about defense? Is House better than Gordon?

I haven't seen any numbers, but If my memory serves me correct he did a great job shutting down Mitchell in the Utah series at least. Maybe not against GS, I can't honestly recall, but if he was smoked a lot he wasn't alone.

Anyway, I agree with starting House for now.

Westbrook and Harden will be playing a lot less together than CP3 and Harden, allegedly, which I like a lot. If we can get Harden's minutes in the upper 30s/ early 40s and still win 50+ games, that's a huge win for us come playoff time.

MDA knows what he's doing. That said EGo's been the much superior player this preseason, living up to what we hoped from his last two months of the regular season torrid pace. And his extension.

It has to be a 'bolster the 2nd unit' kind of move. Or maybe MDA thinks House is a better matchup early against the Bucks?

Good move, I like it. Especially important, I think, since Rivers/Chandler have both looked a little toothless as bench depth in the preseason. While they get their stride back, I like having Eric devoting a little more time to leading bench lineups. He'll still get all the minutes he's due, of course.

I expected this to happen by All-Star but I was sure MDA would stick with Gordon for the first month or two as a comfort zone thing.

EGo complements both Beard and Brodie, so expect him to get most of 3rd guard minutes when either Harden or WB are resting.

That means fewer minutes for Rivers.

When EGo started, Rivers was getting most of 3rd guard minutes.

Jeez. I cant believe there are people in here that still think EG can’t defend.

    Embarrassing.
