I wonder who's getting the 2nd 2-way deal then? They waived everybody.

    Depth Chart as of today
    PG - Westbrook | Rivers | Clemons
    SG - Harden | Gordon | McLemore | Green
    SF - House
    PF - Tucker | Sefolosha | Clark
    C - Capela | Chandler | Anderson | Hartenstein | Nene

Our forward rotation is very thin. We still have an roster spot open and we must add another forward.

Ponds to RGV? Could he wind up w/a 2-way?

A full third could play the 3; a full third could play the 4; a full third+ could play the 5. Yet, there are only 2-clear solid proven NBA rotationers in those 3-slots.

He had an Exhibit 10 deal, so they could’ve just converted him to a two-way without waiving him. Looks like he’ll just be an “Affiliate Player” designated for the Vipers.

Looks like the Rockets may see who passes through waivers and sign one of the better guys (possibly a forward?) to that second two-way spot.

    All 3 will be Vipers.

It's too bad because I think Spalding will be better 5 back up than either Ryno or Hartenstein.

I was a bit surprised that the Rockets did not sign Ponds to a 2-way. Perhaps with the Gerald Green injury that has changed the calculous. Clemons can clearly fill the up and coming guard role. And perhaps the team will look at a Wing/Forward to fill the second 2-way spot. They might be waiting to see who else gets cut around the league.
