Someone talk me off the ledge. We lost in embarrassing fashion to a less talented team. 18-19 redux?

Didn’t watch the full game but highlights. Are we still gonna play hero ball this season?

what's so wrong with doing everything you can to step up and to bail out your teammates from a horrible shooting night?

Not tryin to finger point at James. Beard was awesome but man MDA better increase some ball movement.

Lol when have our sets made it work? MDA isnt exactly Popovich even when we got No 1 seed it was just Harden and Cp3 taking turns so thats really nothing new. And we still got some success despite it so I have no clue why you are so surprised.

Like I said if Capela just dominated like he said he was going to then we would have won. Ironically Dwight whom we could have gotten for the vet min is doing exactly that.

Sometimes I feel MDA did a great job turning James into an upgraded Steve Nash, but failed to build/find an Amare Stoudamire figure in our team. That's the missing piece. Clint has his weapons but not as filthy as Amare in MDA's system.

Amare had post up moves and midrange, rockets dont develop that anymore due to analytics.

Good post agree completely, this has the look of a possible train wreck if they don't work it out in the first 15 games. Hope it's just rust w/ Russ, but that doesn't fully fix Harden's style and we all know that's probably not going to change much (even though it seemed to a bit that first year w/ a healthy CP3) at this point with D'antoni's "system" and perpetual green light for JH. I am beginning to worry Harden's style just isn't going to lead to a championship in Houston, really hope I'm wrong.
