Completely controlled the game for two and a half quarters

Watson has a strong argument for being better, though mahomes was hurt

I’m tired of hearing that. Watson played with a ****ing partially collapsed lung last year. I don’t give a **** about mahomes ankle. Every player plays hurt. No excuses. He was outplayed today and Watson keeps proving that he’s every bit of the qb mahomes is if not better.

After watching the game, I'm pretty convinced that the correct answer is: "Nothing."

Mahomes looks like Curry and therefore gets all the excuses that Curry does. When he plays bad it’s cause he’s hurt.

I think Watson is better, just trying to be objective

This is one of those games where Watson clearly played better than the box score. If you watched it was obvious. Could have been similar yards and TD’s thrown as last week! Those receivers won’t be missing much more and I see Watson doing this all season .

Against the Chiefs, the play calling and execution were top notch, highlighting how much of a difference that makes in how the QB looks. And Watson should have had 2-3 more TDs if his perfect throws weren't dropped, part and parcel of the play calling that kept the pass rush from touching him.

Usually his PFF and DVOA grades are better than his box score. He's been dealing with more holes on the offense than Mahomes has. He can make an average supporting cast into a pretty good offense.

Watson had Tunsil protecting his blindside

Mahomes was missing his LT Fisher. Mahomes looked alot like Watson did last year.
BTW, didn't Watson throw 3 picks with awesome ol play? He's still very much a work in progress

Did you even watch the game? It was 2 picks. 1 was a jump ball that Hopkins didn’t fight for and the other was the DB making a better play on the ball than Fuller.

As far as I am concerned.

1 of which was on the WR when both of them ran the same route next to each other.

Both picks also followed drops in the endzone.

    I mistakenly typed 3 instead of 2.

He threw 1 into double coverage and almost threw another into double coverage. There was also at least one more 10-15 yd pass that he forced and it was a dropped int. Watson was far from perfect last game. This though should be viewed as a positive.

I would say at this point of the season the ratings for both are outstanding. The biggest difference is turnovers. Watson has thrown more interceptions in the last 2 games than Mahomes has all season.

Can’t go wrong with either one. I think they are very comparable.

This is funny, Watson holds the ball like his family is starving and it is the last loaf of bread in the city.
