[Official] Astros vs. Yankees ALCS

I will admit there is part of me that really wanted the Yankees to make it 10-0.... so they all had to sleep on it and comeback angry and embarrassed.

Thus far the Astros have won in the post season because of Cole and Verlander.....

 

I don’t. Yankees offense humming like a Rolls Royce engine this post season and the Astros offense is sputtering like an 84 hatchback civic

 

Do we really have 3 hits? That sounds a tad high.

 

Subtract 4 runs from 6 in a 6-1 score.

You probably hope they get swept so you feel better about the Texans. That's pretty low and beyond pathetic. You are a disgrace to your SN and have been for a long while.

 

I just expected more from a team that has the second highest WRC+ in MLB history.

 

Offense must score early to keep doubt from creeping in... I prefer we score 5+ early and hold on rather than a pitcher's duel..

 

They should be embarrassed anyway. This is a hard watch for the most part.

Welps, I’m glad Cole or Verlander didn’t pitch today. Would’ve been a waste of a start thanks to the offense.

 

The Astros have done this all season. They hit dry spells and have always come out of them.

 

Granted I never pitched in the Show but I did at a decent D1 level. Baseball is unlike any sport, some days you don’t have it and you get rocked, some days you have it and get rocked. Just part of the beauty

 

You will never get some people to acknowledge this.

 

The Astros were not better than the Rays in the playoffs. They won the game they need because the pitch tipped his pitches.

Actually did have one of the easiest 3 schedules the 2nd half of the year.

 

Astros started 4-0 in last year's postseason too. Finished 4-4.

 

The WS championship run in particular, Springer was bad until basically the World Series.

People were wanting him moved down the lineup lol and he just exploded.

If the law of averages is a thing then the Astros are going to explode here soon, at least I hope so.

 

Guess I was seeing things with back to back off Pagan in the 8th. Come on man

 

Difference is, the Red Sox were hitting the ball in the playoffs.

 

Aaron Boone looks bored by our boring fakkit hitters. Feel bad for all the neutral fans out there anticipating a competitive game tonight. Yanks obviously couldn’t give a **** about home field advantage.
