There was no mystery about why he was going to report that date. After that date it would start costing him money. This was reported on the local radio shows and by the Chron writers. It was understood he was set to report that last possible date. This wasn't his "camp" floating it, he himself told reporters that is what he was going to do.

Then he found out they were trading him and he decided to control his own destiny.

    Clowney never said that.

The issue isnt just not reporting. He had not signed yet.

But please stop saying Clowney planned to report when you don't have a quote from either him or his agent

Dude is holding out files a grievance but tells a media guy i just want some extra time off. You believe that?

Rappaport's direct quote is that Clowney told him. No anonymous source. So you are calling Rappaport a liar and saying Aaron Wilson, PFF, etc. all just made it up because...well because you don't want it to be true.

The regular season. Waiting for when it actually counts. When he starts losing money.
It sounds like you don't fully understand the concept of the franchise tag and holding out. Up until right before the trade, nothing Clowney did was out of the ordinary for someone in his situation. Melvin Gordon is currently holding out and he will probably end his hold out here this week.

There is no quote in that article.

The article says "Clowney has made it known"

You say i don't know facts. You don't know what a quote is. It doesn't even say Clowney told them.

Stop stating that ish as fact

Gordon hasn't been tagged. Thats a different situation.

You guys are arguing to argue. The situation we have been discussing started with Clowney supposedly being upset because he supposedly heard about being traded

    @justtxyank

Are there any quotes of him saying im holding out because i heard im being traded. Do you think its a better pr move to say im holding because im chilling

Have you physically seen this grievance, I mean, with your own two eyes?

If not, how can you report this grievance as fact? Just because some media guy told you? You believe that?

Wheres the copy of this grievance?

    LMAO

They've been inept since their inception. If you're going to be a build in the draft franchise, shouldn't you be able to draft guys in the 3rd, 4th round that can play.

Stuff he didn't learn? Like how to stay in the game, stick around and put in the extra work, come in early and stay late. That's the stuff he didn't learn here. I'm sure Hopkins, Watt, Watson... picked it up pretty quickly and probably didn't even need to be reminded about doing it.

I liked Clowney when he was here but if that was his attitude towards upping his game, no wonder they didn't want him

If I had the energy I'd go back and lookup all the posts from last year and find all the people talking about how Clowney's amazing game changing contributions dont show up in the stat line and see which ones are taking smack about his statline now.

I'm too lazy to do it, but you know who you are.

    Instead I'll post this:

This was the kind of crap the rah rah crowd would have been crowing about last year and reposting a thousand times.
