    https://philadelphia.cbslocal.com/2...ejected-china-guangzhou-supporting-hong-kong/

Wachs, a Philly resident who lived in Hong Kong for two years, says he was also wearing a “Free Hong Kong” T-shirt.

Shortly after tip-off, Wachs says security members saw the signs and told him “no politics.”

When Wachs questioned, he says a security guard said not to give him a hard time and took away the signs.

Roughly midway through the second quarter, Wachs says he stood up and yelled “Free Hong Kong.” He says he was then ejected from the game.

    That's surprising after Silver's statement.

I would not have been surprised if the game was played in Guangzhou.

There is no surprise, they are play the Guangdong team tonight.

One beat writer tweeted : for an exhibition game, I don’t know why the 76ers are pressing the other team even in the first half like mad man.

If some moron behid me was continually shouting FREE HONG KONG during a basketball game, then I would be hoping he got chucked out.

The league / team is within their rights of removing this guy if he violated any terms of conduct …. but this shouldn't happen in the US of A.

I'm kinda disappointed in the league …. This was a chance to "put your money where your mouth is" on social justice , they declined. We're Sorry!!

Man I just say it again. You hold free HK implying China was not giving them freedom w/o knowing what’s really going on, in China it is just not allowed. Bite me.

Well trust me if someone hold Fu*k America or Trump Go to Hell, He/She will still be ejected. We just don’t want politics esp sensitive substances to appear in such places.

That’s the rule. Just follow the rule. Damn.

You hv the freedom to throw eggs at George W Bush, or our premiere Wen Jiabao.
But still you will be ejected.

Gv us some break. Damn this sh*t goes on forever.

Sorry but I think there's an element of nuance being neglected. Enes, Lebron, etc DIDN'T cost the business of NBA any money by being political. What's the relationship of the NBA in Turkey? Probably not as significant as it is in China. I understand we ,as a fanbase, 've a strong reason to support our GM but this problem isn't as simple as we would like it to be. It is a very complicated problem.

ohh did China now really give freedom to HKers?

    What freedom?

    Democracy? no
    Free and fair elections? no

I don't imply anything I outright say that China takes away the human rights and freedom of people in HK.
