Far"weed" was forced out by tucker especially after tucker talked about a contract extension. It was impossible to play far"weed" and capeala in this small ball system especially against golden state. Draymond Greene would easily take advantage of a mis match with far"weed", and curry would force capeala to switch. Am I mistaken but wasn't far"weed" unrestricted. No team in league even field a offer for far"weed"!
I can tell you watched absolutely no games last playoffs. How can Draymond "take advantage" of a guy not even in the game? Faried is physical. When GS got physical the whole series changed. Looney came in & did what Faried was supposed to
That is enough about Faried. He does one thing well, rebound... that’s it. He is a terrible defender, he is a poor shooter , poor passer and poor screener. He isn’t a Rocket because they don’t want him. No one else wants him either.

To me it's wrong to release Anthony Bennett without showing his skills and no playing time. His constant running in the offseason contributed to this injury. The Rockets need his big body to match Draymond and Montrezl. Anthony is more athletic, has shot blocking skills, ball handling, better Free Throw shooter,better 3 point shooter. His skills are way better than Clint Capela. I can't trust Clint late in games and against the Warriors. Ryan Anderson looks really bad, no legs in deep 3 pointers. Can't play switch defense either. Donatas Montiejunas can be such a upgrade off the bench.
I hope he gets healthy soon. He probably wouldn't have made our team, and if he had he wouldn't have played much. Maybe one more year in the G League putting up shots wouldn't be the worst thing in the world for him. In an ideal scenario he would take PJT's place in a year or so. I realize that is unlikely-bordering-on-impossible... but that would be the ideal scenario.
I really hope they don't cut him. I think he can be a contributor if he can get on the court Tily's got that in his belly button lint
He will certainly not make the roster, and the rockets don't hold his g-league rights, those go to the clippers affiliate (unless we trade for them). He's not going anywhere, we could sign him midseason if we think he looks healthy. I could be wrong on that, if so please let me know..
