His offseason problems is the reason alone not to even look at this situation. Regardless of him looking ok in Phoenix. You have to wonder why Memphis, a team that is rebuilding is not playing him and sending him in the G league. Why would Rockets look at him?
Memphis has better young players and vets playing his position. Rockets take chance due to need and upside.

There's a reason his value is so low. He's almost completely sabotaged himself already and doesn't mind bringing others(including his own 5 month old) down with him. Hard pass.
You dislike him for fleeing an area he was told to stay put by security and accused by ex-girlfriend of getting their baby high? Same ex-girlfriend who was charged with child abuse, striking child over 30 times with belt and injuries documented at hospital. Kid is stupid off court but his actions are not violent or qualify as awful human being.
It sounds like he has been in a lot of trouble. But the allegation re: getting infant high (per the link) seems like a bs headline for what may be a bs accusation by the mother. She has also been in a fair amount of trouble apparently. I don't put much credence in naked allegations during a split.
Let's see first if his upside includes him not going to prison before we sign a headcase with zero IQ like that.
