I agree, this stuff is pretty damning, and I can't imagine it getting better for Trump as it goes on.

Easy. Don't take the job. As head of any federal agency, you know that you are likely to testify before Congress.

Easy to say but you now drain the swamp of good, honest, hard working people even more and make the swamp more swampier. It used to be the best of us that served this country, now it's worst of us. well no wonder we're **** now...

The way Congressional testimony is setup, not even Jesus Christ would come out unscathed. I tip my hat to public servants (the wife is one), but no thank you for me.

Trumps hates Pence and might not completely trust him to pardon all of his misdeeds.

A better way forward would be to replace Pence with Bill Barr and then resign for "health" reasons.

I agree, bad reporting here by the dailycaller, a partisan publication that isn't very reputable and we can all see why here.

The House Intelligence Committee posted the Ukraine whistleblower's letter [Direct PDF link], detailing a complaint that President Trump was soliciting foreign interference in the 2020 election.

He asked for a favor, no magic words are needed, as Lindsey Graham once famously said...

He also admitted that he solicited help, him and Rudy admitted this, on TV no less.

The whistleblower is almost irellevant at this point as Trump the idiot has admitted to the two pieces of information that make this clear extortion and election interference.

He admitted that he froze military aid to Ukraine however he gave 3 seperate contradictory reasons why he did it which is hilarious in itself and clear indication that he is backtracking and trying to find a legal reason that doesn't look like blatant extortion. And then he admits that he did ask the Ukrainian president to investigate his political opponent and invoked the attorney general and Trump's personal lawyer, Gulliani to help with the request for investigation. These are things readily admitted by Trump and the administation when they released their version of the "transcript" which was essentially a memo.

The GOP thinks you're stupid. I just heard a Texas GOP congressman John Ratcliffe make a cockamamie argument that since the whistleblower's accounts were second hand, this complaint isn't valid and that Trump spoke to a foreign leader and that's his business therefore zero context need be applied. GOP voters, he thinks you are stupid.

The promise that is implied if you aren't a naive child or a partisan hack is the threat of freezing military aid that was already promised. It's extortion.

You don't freeze military aid to a country without consulting your staff and other world leaders who have a vested interest and then a couple of days later call the president of that country you froze already promised military aid to and ask for a favor to investigate a political opponent w stating how much the US helped said country which obviously implies the dangling of military aid.

Don't play stupid. This is obvious extortion. Anyone who watches a god damn mafia genre movie can understand this.

I hate saying this, but it'll be interesting to watch Fox News and see if they abandon ship at some point and start to bury Trump.

YOU are stupid!! It's exactly what Trump think of his supporters.

BTW, what you do harms the US. Think about that a bit.

I mean clearly he offers help to Ukraine, they couldn't even get a meeting unless they talked about Biden, this according to Zelensky's own advisor...

@fchowd0311 post explains it better than I'm able to at this point.

You're being willfully blind to this but understand this...the GOP can do better than Trump.
