[Howard Beck/Bleacher Report] James Harden's Next Act

Please let this man win a ring. Please.

 

No I get it and I’m fine if the conclusion you want to draw is that Harden and MDA, without a ring to bolster the resume, don’t belong in a discussion with the absolute best of the best.

What I can’t get behind is drawing the conclusion that Harden is a choker, implying he SHOULD have beaten the teams that sent him home. Or that MDAs coaching CANT win or somehow just magically falls apart in the playoffs when the teams that beat him were some of the best of the best.

Personally I think it’s absolutely possible to consider Harden one of the greats and MDA to be a great coach with a winning strategy even if they never win it all.

 

the commitments from curry and lilliard for team usa next year basically eliminates any chance of harden playing in Olympics in my opinion. Maybe I'm premature with that opinion but that is my opinion!

tony brothers did harden his one and only favor back in January when he let harden steal that game away from the lakers after letting harden get away with the push-offs on the three he hit on kcp at the top of the key. Did brothers let harden get away with the same push off on kcp for the corner baseline three. Antonio brown stole the push off move he did with patriots against Miami on sunday and he took that move from harden!
