Not sure I'd want to include House in order to get Iggy.

That was my second thought I think he makes a jump this year. Plus half of clutchfans would go full Jonestown if he was traded.

My question is this; can they do something similar with Shumpert? At which point we'd be able to get damn near anybody.

What a cutthroat organization. I'd take Nene to backup the Capela over Tyson Chandler any day of the week. Chandler is only a spot minutes player at this point. House is an emerging wing player... But Iggy is good enough to sacrifice for...

    Very interesting.

But the author is just speculating on everything with regard to Iggy.

Still, interesting bit on the Nene deal. I hadn't looked at that thread so I wasn't aware of the bogus $10 million figure.

isn't the contract still being reviewed by the league office and our best insider here says there's talk of it being voided anyways?

Screw trading House for him. That's a no-no.

I REALLLLYYYY don’t think this Nene contract was made for Iggy. It was obviously made for having a trade asset, but I really don’t think Morey is thinking Iggy is just going to stay put and not play in Memphis. I also don’t think he’d want to try to integrate him with this team in January.

If we could also do that with Shumpert and get Kevin Love in January with those contracts I would be so happy. If that were to happen, I say give Morey a lifetime extension. People talking about Iggy but really this is an amazing trade piece for teams at that deadline that could be flipped for a great player. And let's say we do it with Shumpert. We could theoretically trade Nene and House for Iggy and Shumpert and Capela for Kevin Love and fillers. Sign a minimum C. Pipe dream, but theoretically possible.

I wouldn't mind picking up Nance. Good rebounder. Can hit a three. On a good contract. Would provide some size and athleticism in the front court.

Thought Gerson was holding out to get D'Angelo (and his tape recorder) for RoCo?

So the Rockets are all-in on paying significant luxury tax this year? I mean, I'm for it, but it goes against how ownership has done things for awhile.
