Continuity has to start somewhere... Tunsil, Martin, Howard, Max, Fulton, Henderson! It’s a young line but I am expecting them to stay stout and more consistent than not, week after week. I see that Max is not starting, but he’s probably getting valuable experience so that he can be either the starting right guard or tackle of the future. But I did not know Tunsil was very close to being selected #1 by the Titans, if they didn’t trade the pick. I saw that a lot of experts had him rated as the top LT in the 2016 draft. He was by definition a Franchise-level Left Tackle, who hadn’t hurt that perception, and is growing into himself as a very likely perennial pro bowl LT. Since getting drafted in 2016, he’s been very respectable in terms of his performance; the cost the Texans paid for him was high, but Tunsil’s continued improvement could turn this trade in the Texans favor. Once he hits that next level, the trade will be a lot more palatable. http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap30...emy-tunsil-hurt-titans-traded-no-1-draft-pick https://www.ibtimes.com/nfl-draft-2016-laremy-tunsil-loses-millions-after-pot-debacle-2361768
Considering the TD was 37 yards, his other two catches combined for 0. Hopkins was their best receiver.
https://www.miamiherald.com/sports/spt-columns-blogs/barry-jackson/article234832277.html Asked why gave up on two of past four first-round picks (Laremy Tunsil and Fitzpatrick), Grier said: “I wouldn’t say given up. With Laremy, that was when we got a phone call. They [Houston] kept pursuing us multiple times. We talked, kept telling them no and what it would take. They came and offered it. “I called Laremy about the trade and he walked in my office and saw it on the board and said, ‘I would trade me for that.’ We were not trying to do it.
Heard this morning that the line originally opened at 16.5. Wish I was a gambling man...I woulda been all over that.
How is he grading per PFF or whatever other fancy grading system people are using these days two weeks into the season?? I see lots of good play, then an occasional slip up or two, but I'm no expert.
Not good but mainly due to the start he had in NO. A lot of the stuff is behind a paywall right now but suspect his run blocking grade is pulling his grade up.
So Tunsil just happened to walk into the gms office at random and it just so happened that the terms of the yet to be agreed upon trade were within eyesight of Tunsil so clear that he was able to read it and make a joke about it and then he just walked out and drove home? Yeah sounds like a load of bull dookie to me. The team is tanking, the gm needs be more creative
It's called a whiteboard, they exist in every single professional workspace known to man. Not sure why you think he was snooping at notes on a desk or something.
