honestly, I would easily prefer a covington/iggy over KL for this team as is. And yeah I'd rather have Ariza's defense over love's offense. The rockets have been missing that defensive versatility ever since he and moute left. my point is, the rockets are missing those type of wing players a whole lot more than what love offensively is

    Agree to disagree.
I really don’t think we missed anything last year. We just couldn’t beat the Warriors.

They were on a high for two games (more if you count the Portland series).

I like our team and am hoping Harden being happier will mean Westbrook on Rockets > CP3 on Rockets. Adding Love without giving up anything besides picks and contracts set up as trade assets is the ultimate low risk high reward. It’s literally no risk if you don’t care for Tillman’s pockets.

S**t. I was excited for Melo. Now replace that scenario with someone younger, wouldn’t have to change his game, thrives in a system like ours, is close with a couple of our teammates, and isn’t a diva.

wrd. agree to disagree. it's still what houston's greatly missing to me, of which forces EG to be a starter rather than the 6th man

Yeah I do wonder about EG, and where he’s best. Not so much the “starter” label, but say for the 1,2 and 3 position, to fill those minutes. Come playoff time if Harden and Westbrook are playing 38 minutes, and EG 32 minutes (which I think he should), that only leaves 36 minutes of playing time assuming we don’t get too out of position. I think Rivers is due for 20 minutes a game, and then we’ve got House and Green.

I think we'll let him walk and he'll sign with the Nets.
