I thought Harden liked to touch butts, not the other way around.

That's a pretty serious degree of difficulty, shooting a 3 while moving laterally
Plus doesn't look like a travel...

Harden’s gonna fck around and make a 1-legged stepback three a legitimate shot...this dude’s creativity is unmatched

If he can make this work, he would get even more room to get off his shot.

If he makes this work he will win every H.O.R.S.E. game ever.

I think his next move should be moving laterally on the perimeter when guarding his defender.

We will win a championship if he acquires this move

Hopefully he cares more about his off ball game especially now with Westbrook as his running mate.

Hopefully Rocket fans stop acting like douchebags... That would be a nice next move.

    I'm all for cool moves.

They are only helpful, ultimately, if they either (1) increase his three point percentage, or (2) increase his ability to take more three pointers at the same % as normal, or finally (3) increase his ability to fool defenders, get them off balance, and make another play.

I don't see how (3) would apply for this particular one legged move. Once he's into that, there's no more play to be made. It's pretty hard to imagine (1) being that true. Maybe he hits these at 35%, or 36% or 37%... whatever. All good enough that if he wants to add it to his arsenal... fine. It definitely can impact (2). That's what he's focused on mainly in the offseasons. How to shoot more threes, at a still efficient %. You can see from this move that he's going to use it to combat the defense that WAY WAY WAY overplays him to one side.

Honestly, at this point, I wish he'd pour all his focus into (1) though. 40% Harden from three in the playoffs would result in one of the greatest playoff runs you'll ever see, since he's so capable of playing off that shot in a variety of ways.

Russ or other wings have to be ready to cut to basket when he does this so he can launch a pass as a bail out bc he can't stop this motion like his stepback

0:42 sec mark he passes out to his teammate behind the arc... and then tries to fake contest said teammate's shot attempt :D
