What a joke. I like them. NBA isn't getting paid off them so of course they step in.

They should open up the ninja headbands for legal pulls like the nfl did for hair.

Clyde: no foul on harden. Nothing but headwear.

Only the good ninjas could still get away with it.

I dunno if this "ban" will last.

Nike is racist. Ninjas are consummate professionals.

Finally!! It looked cool on Westbrook, but in general it just looked out of place and goofy AF.

Nadal and Federer dutifully center the Nike swoosh on their forehead, though.
Clearly, the NBA is doing this at Nike's request to introduce the knotted headband with swoosh

Awesome how the fashion voice of America -- Vogue -- actually describes Nadal like a Ninja warrior wearing the Ninja "hachimake-esque headgear."

There is something strangely alluring about the way tennis player Rafael Nadal ties his bandana. “He wears it as if he is going into battle,” one of my colleagues noted, and she has a point: Consider the loud Nike logo prominently displayed across his forehead and a warrior-style knot in the back. And true to form, Nadal does seem as if he is preparing for war when he steps onto the court—his style is aggressive and ferocious, just like his bright and bold choices of hachimaki-esque headgear.

I think the days of the tennis goddess -- Gabriela Sabatini -- wearing anything she wants are over.

Glad they intervened. Players could easily get pulled from behind.

I think it is silly for the NBA to ban this, a big reason the NBA is successful is because of the personality and that players get to express themselves on the court as well as off.

Since Stern left Silver has been a lot more open about this stuff even letting players wear whatever color shoes they want to wear that night
