I have a dilemma that I am dealing with privately. I am looking for a small, very discrete camera that records audio and could be live streamed to a device (in case evidence gets destroyed or tampered with). Anyone have any advice or experience? I'm aiming for something affordable, but also don't want to buy a piece of crap. Thanks!
Check with local laws as you cannot film or record audio just anywhere. Would be awful to catch a cheater or lying boss and end up with a felony yourself.
Thank you. New York is a one party consent state, so I should be good right? And without going into any details, I wouldn't be recording a specific person. I would be recording generally (not in a bathroom or bedroom) in hopes to catch a person in an illegal act.
I think the wyze camera could do the trick for you. Its cheap, records audio, can record continuously or by motion and its pretty small.

Seriously, it would be worth the money to talk with a reputable Private Investigator. New York is full of them. Honestly agree with those who say this can't end well. Sorry something bad seems to be happening in your house.
Pretty sure as long as it isn't in a private area (e.g. bathroom), you are OK. Also, pretty sure most cameras nowadays have an option to stream to the cloud. I have security surveillance cameras throughout my home and property (3 different brands) and they all have the option to save to a cloud. None of them are hidden, however.
