I would like to see more alley oop attempts or effort plays on offense from bigs. Whether it's nene or chandler. Even failed alley oop attempts are crowd pleasers if needed.

Golden state will just hoist three's because they shoot a good percentage or just gonna wait for a switch of nene/capeala.

nene might be able to set screens when capeala goes to the bench. The rockets can let harden jack up three pointers until he gets tired. Then let westbrook and nene go to work.

If Faried isn't signed the Rockets aren't serious about having the depth to win a championship. Faried is our smallball option in a offense that you rewards movement, speed & high energy. Not sure what Morey's doing by not offering Faried a spot

I am speculating, but I have a hard time believing the Rockets don't want Faried back. Those reports must be true that he was upset about not playing in the playoffs, otherwise, I see no reason why he wouldn't be a Rocket at this point.

 

Those bridges are burned. Faried was salty D'antoni wouldn't play him in the playoffs.

I agree that he is needed. But I think by now it’s pretty obvious it’s not happening for whatever reason. Whether it’s Nene refusing to play for MDA or MDA not wanting him.

Also, this is a point I wouldn't ordinarily feel compelled to make but OH MY GAWD CAN THIS OFF SEASON BE OVER ALREADY?!?!?!

 

That's the thing, he SHOULD'VE played in the playoffs. He should be upset about that along with all Rockets fans. The Rockets got embarrassed on the boards & not playing Faried down the stretch hurt our season. They should've apologized to Faried & made things right a long time ago

 

MDA should not have enough pull to not bring a guy back who actually contributed. The Rockets NEEDED Faried against GS, especially when Looney went full Dennis Rodman. Rebounding hurt us ALL year yet MDA stopped playing Faried toward the end of the regular season & going into the postseason

 

Faried is a below average defender and can't reliably hit the three which is why MDA did not trust him in the playoffs.

 

My impression is that the Rockets feel he wasn't fockassed on team. So....

Those talking points are from 2016. Last year he exceeded expectations for us & gave the team a lift, especially when Clint went down. There was no logical reason why MDA stopped playing him

 

I'm beginning to believe that faried was technically on a 10-day contract and either his luck ran out with Darryl morey or rockets are choosing to rebuild without far"weed"!
