    It's not a bad contract at all. He's one of our best scorers and one of the best shooters in the game. We wouldn't be able to replace him with our salary cap. We have a 4-6 year window with Harden left. We had to keep him if we didn't get someone better in return in a trade.

    It’s a great contract. Maybe the wheels fall off year two or three.

    These aren’t maybes...
    • He’s a hard worker
    • He has proven chemistry with the team
    • He’s shown love for the city
    • He’s never complained about his role or wanting more
    • He’s won some awards while he was here.
    Plenty more... I’m happy this got resolved. I look forward to his remaining time with the rockets.

    because an existing player signed an extension... you now think we can win a championship (as opposed to before?)...ummmmm... ok....

    most guys usually play better when trying to procure a new contract... but ok...

    maybe i'm jus missing the sarcasm i guess... lol

    I was 100% wrong. We still haven’t used MLE: LTS is still the mvp, @Carl Herrera has been right all along.

    How do we save this franchise??

    Getting WB who has a year longer on his deal means Rox want to avoid LTS this year again so they dont pay repeater tax. Maybe if a really good FA can be had for mid level but they aint gonna use MLE for just anybody.
