Oct. 4 2019 MidNight . Thursday night and Friday morning. What a way to start a preseason off and make everyone lose there job on friday. pfffff. Guess it will be recorded for me.. But man the temptation to goto work with 4 hours of sleep, just to watch all the new big editions on there respectable teams... Lenard, George and there crew go at it with Westbrook new look rockets. But i suppose the lineup could be bunch of dleaguers or invitees trying to make the squad, maybe not worth everyone time to stay up.? OH ! Not to forget 2 5am games with the raptors 8th and 10th . What we gonna wake up at 5, and watch the 1st quarter before we eat breakfast and run off to work i mean WTF.????
Where is it being broadcast? I'm a night owl, but I have to have access. You might give some of us a clue.
I was in London for a month and had to watch games at 2:30 or 3:30 in the morning...I feel sorry for UK fans...NBA will never be popular there, not with that time zone difference since this is preseason, I really only care about the 1st and 3rd quarters...aka the time when the starters will be on the floor playing against the other team’s starting lineups or regular rotation for the most part...I do not care at all about the portions of the game when scrubs are getting a look...I also don’t care when we play useless games like against the Shanghai Sharks
Welcome to the pain of being an international fan. Rockets home games start around 9:00AM here (Western Australia). Too bad if it's a work day, if you don't want to know the result before you watch the game you have to stay off the internet, and even then someone will come past your desk and tell you the score.
I'll be watching. I actually want to see our young or unproven players. Clark, Hart, Bennett, and House may be key contributers this year. I want to see how they have progressed this off-season. I'm also interested in watching Clemons and McLemore get some run. We pretty much know what to expect from our core players. I can catch up on sleep the following night.
I don't even watch preseason games when they're conveniently scheduled. The league has an 82 game preseason, so that's plenty.
Over in the Eastern states it's not so bad. Usually on at midday so can catch a bit on my lunch break or on a quiet day I sometimes sneak it onto one of my screens at work!
