Biagini was nails against RHB before we got him, I haven't paid enough attention to him yet to see if that's changed.

Having a guy in the postseason pen who's only job is to get 1 or 2 tough righties out isn't a bad thing.

Yordan has such a pretty, natural swing. I can sit there and look at it over and over all day. I can't remember the last time the Astros had a slugger that can hit dingers so casually.

I hope they saved some offense for the rest of the series. Last time they exploded for 23 runs, the following game didn't turn out so well

Well in their defense it wasn’t the offense that let them down that next game.

Well, to be fair, they scored 7 runs in that next game. They just happened to give up 8.

Yuli is slacking and only has an .898 OPS. If he gets over, and Mr.Glass can get back, 7 of our 9 hitters have an OPS over .900. One of our weak spots is a catcher who's above average at his position.

We're now #1 in baseball in OPS, # 2 in BA, #2 in walks, and have the fewest strikeouts by a good margin. This lineup just keeps coming at you with guys who would be 3/4 hitters in most lineups.

And odds are fairly decent that the Rays aren't scoring 8 off of Cole tonight.

It was a 9-0 game. Call looks like it go either way. Whether a ball or a strike, ump had called a very consistent zone all day, and JV is being a jerk in a low leverage situation. Ump doesn't give JV too much rope , but clearly says he has had enough. JV lowers his voice as if he says something he doesn't want others to hear while walking away. He gets tossed.

In a close game I don't think JV gets tossed. The ump was probably extra irked that JV was so upset at a ball/strike call in a 9-0 game.

The rays were getting that edge all night forget a 9-0 lead. Verlander is in the backstretch of a cy young and had a 10+k game streak on the line. Prolly doesn’t get it but he’s not thinking he wouldn’t, he’s thinking he’s gonna strike everyone out.

I don't really want my ace pitcher losing intensity simply because of the score of the game.

JV is wired tightly. If he's not getting a call, he's going to react regardless of score or leverage situation. Yes, he was a jerk about it.

I don't like his "Horse s**t" " comment. Is horse s**t worse than bullsh*t? Why not dogsh*t? I stepped on cowsh**t once on my tio's farm and my La gear shoes were cleaned. You step on dogsh*t you can forget about those shoes. Might as well throw them away.
