Reading there is a chance Stills could get cut.
Lombardi said last week that there was a big name WR available. Didn’t say who though.

He said he would be shocked if Clowney isn’t gone within 48 hours

Clowney for a WR would be somewhat of a letdown. But if something is going on with Fuller and we also get a pick out of it, might not be that bad.

Unless it's a star receiver, no thanks.

1000x doubt KC trades hill but man would he really change this offense.

    Watson
    Miller/Duke
Hop/Hill/Fuller when healthy / Keke when healthy
And if the line can just be average

Maybe KC decides mahomes can make average players better they did draft a lot of speedy players this year I believe.

But they did just trade for Clark tho

Saw where an Eagles beat writer from Connecticut proposed Alshon Jeffrey and Ronald Darby for Clowney.

    I'd do that easy.

if Clowney is not a BOB "guy" and the nonchalant attitude damages the texans "culture fit" and I'm force to trade him .. I like this trade the best. Darby is still 25 and Ashton is 29. If they're healthy, do it.
Though, I would rather keep clowney. Strange because in the past Romeo has said Clowney was an exceptional player to coach. Willfork even called Clowney the best better than JJ after that 2016 season.

Jeffrey would be interesting. But I’d essentially look at that as a one for one deal as the Texans could’ve signed Darby for cheap a few months ago.

Honestly, and I said this to friends the last time the rumors were swirling, but I think it's BOB trying to leverage Clowney into signing and reporting.

Remember he's got a huge past of leaking things to benefit himself.

If true they must have really wanted Dillard. Fired the GM because he couldn't get it done then trade off Clowney for him.

I doubt Philly gives him up, even for Clowney. Very good DE/Edge guys, who are better at stopping the run, are easier to find than great LTs, like Dillard is looking to be. Especially when the Eagles will have to pay Clowney a ton next year, and Dillard is locked up for the next few. Not saying it's impossible, but the Texans would have to hideously overpay, IMHO.

What could be interesting, and I know 3 team trades are seemingly impossible, but Tyreek Hill would look great on the Redskins. He'd be their best receiver by far. They could pay him. Clowney could fit on the Chiefs, even with Clark. Their salaries for the front seven wouldn't be grossly out of whack, even after a hypothetical Clowney megadeal (though Miami really could have afforded him next year, with all that dead money going away.) It gets Hill out of their hair. And we all think Trent Williams would fill a great need in Houston.

So get this done. Trade picks back and forth until everyone's happy.
