Pretty doggo, but what's up with the vest? Back discomfort?

Very disappointing. I’m sure he will land on the IL.

Diaz at 3rd and Bregs at ss should be ok for a while. Diaz needs to be healthy. Mayfield is a minor league hitter

It’s amazing Correa has missed a full season over the last 3 years.

Games Missed for #CarlosCorrea the last 3 years...

    53 games missed in '17

    52 games missed in '18

54 games missed so far this year

It’s not the IL that worries me, it’s how he responds to the rest.
Can he return and be the Correa with the 115 mph exit velocity at the plate and the gun at SS?

It's even more sad knowing what he does when he's healthy. With all his injuries, still the third fastest SS in MLB history to 100 homers. Imagine what he would accomplish if he was healthy.

    Cause of last 2 injuries:
    -massage
    -watching a grounder

Goddamnit correa. Once you get photoshopped as Mr. Glass theres no coming back from that.

    Get right sir.

Thought this stat was misleading when they posted it. As the 2nd fastest guy only hit 230 HR for his career. Correa's HR pace right now is disappointing. He may only get to 350 career HR and that would be a let down for most of us, putting him in the Ellis Burks and Gary Gaetti range. I really thought he would get past his career average of 20 HR this year.

Good thing he's not injury prone though.

What about bringing up Toro with both Correa and Diaz out?

Anyone see Stanton try not to lose it when Bart talked about CC’s “rough massage”?

OK, I like both options better than Mayfield at short.

This is disconcerting. How do you successfully hide something like this from all your teammates, your coaches, and your trainers? I think it says something about them as well, particularly the training staff. Also, him handling his own treatments, including this eventually-bone-breaking massage that he felt he needed to have every day, is doubly disconcerting. You've got to be honest with your doctors about what you're doing to your body in case it conflicts with their opinions on the matter.

Maybe he's a glass cannon, anyway, but everything I hear just makes it sounds like there's some very destructive lack of communication going on. I also feel bad for him. He's only 24, and he probably felt he'd be be stigmatized for being depressed about the whole thing. I don't get the sense that professional sports teams have any mental health help for their young, expensive, life-inexperienced players.
