    Hinch will always be consistent with this type of move... whether it’s a regular season game vs Oakland, or game 5 of the World Series.

    The only argument against it is if you feel Alvarez has good enough speed to run the bases.

    I called Hinch out against the WS for doing the same thing late in the game I believe there were 2 outs the go ahead run was already on second base and he subbed for Alvarez. What is he thinking?

    It's more complicated than just Alvarez's speed. 1) Astros were home vs the Dodgers, so a score there ends the game. 2) McCann's replacement (Centerno) is a smaller downgrade than Diaz @ DH vs Yordan.
