If we get Mandzu back, then Goran Derek ("Ante Ustasha") will be back as well... https://m.24sata.hr/show/partijaner-ante-ustasa-pravi-je-miljenik-nasih-nogometasa-541805
Gonna do some video scouting, but really no idea why we always sign central midfielders when we already have a bazillion and other needs.
Seems like a real bargain for his talent, shows superb vision and crossing in highlights, plus decent dribbling. Again gotta ask though, do we really need another central midfielder? Already have Sanches, Goretzka, Tolisso and Müller for the 8 position, plus Thiago If Martinez plays 6 in knockout games as he often does. The rumoured 10mil seem like a good deal, but when you see transfers like him, Perisic, Arp and possibly Mandzu it makes no sense to cheap out on someone like Olmo because of a few mil difference.
Btw he was Gladbach's player of the season in 17/18, at only 18yrs old. Their fans are saying he's an absolute gem. Edit: Dug through his career pages and seems he was sometimes utilized as part of a double six line-up for French youth squads, so maybe Bayern sees him as a partner for Thiago.
Don't know him but I just saw a report about him in the L'Équipe website. They talk about 20 mil euro but I think it's exggartion from their side. Apparently he didn't play a lot this season.
Thought it wouldn't happen after the noise went down in past days, but seems it's going lightning quick now?
phil will do well for teh bayern brehs. good loan. will prolly leave when other big clubs with money come knocking. but i predict phil being a mediocre journeyman after he's done with bayern. the pattern seem to fit that direction.
Coutinho is too slow. Might as well have extended James. If we add Sané and Mandzu still, as well as Olmo or Werner, I'm sort of ok with the summer, but we should have gone all in for de Ligt.
The F is up with Kovac benching Sanches after his awesome pre-season and then bringing him and Davies in 5min before the end of the game, despite the team showing nothing on offense. If I were Sanches I'd hand in a transfer request tonight, Kovac is a moron and won't change.
Seems the buy-option for Cou is 120mil, yeesh. Guess they just wanted to sign a big name for brand reasons and will send him back to Barca next season, while bringing in Havertz.
That Swansea City stint wasn't good, I tuned in and it wasn't a good product. No clue what he can do in the future. Reality bites and he'll have to go back to let's say, Portugal and prove himself again.
