This is unfortunate, I think everyone was rooting for him to be something special but the injury combined with poor work habits really derailed his trajectory. So sad because he's in fantastic shape. I hope this is a wake up call to him and he goes on to have a great career but Higdon was outplaying him in practice so I ain't really trippin

I'm of the opinion that the Texans' are in need of upgrading at the starting RB position. Probably the weakest position unit on the team, bottom quarter of the league. Foreman represented the only hope of an upgrade and Lamar Miller is the type of starter most franchises are looking to move on from. Failed to address the position in the draft and free agency. Win now mode (while Watson on rookie deal) should dictate exploring luxury options at the position, especially given the large amount of cap the Texans didn't use in free agency and an appearance that they don't plan to resign Clowney. Time to put that GM by committee to work!!

When is guy going to retire? I know he just reports the news but he never reports anything positive for the Texans.

Texans just don't give a F. As long as they look like right above getting embarrassed they will take that result and run with it. May have the worst running back group in the nfl.

He's been here since what the 60's??? The Texans need to revamp everything outside of Deshaun Watson, the receivers and JJ Watt. Get away from this good ol boy staffing regime. Need reporters that get on these guys a$$'s.

Should’ve brought in Theo Riddick then. Of course he signs with Broncos right before we waive Foreman.

TJ Yeldon would have also been a decent move. Both less expensive options to Duke Johnson.

Need more than Theo Riddick, Duke Johnson, or Adrian Peterson in my opinion. $38million in unused cap space just sitting there and letting Lamar Miller go would free up another $6million. Going rate for a top RB $12 to $14million. And while I am familiar with and understand the league’s reticence to occupy cap space at the RB position, the Texans’ already missed the cheaper route of drafting a RB and need to strongly consider investing in the position before blowing another season at the position. A pass catching star RB could do wonders for a team with question marks along the O-line and a skilled mobile QB

A star running back would actually help the offensive line which helps Deshaun but the pressure to win isn't on this franchise.

Checked old Pats rosters. Corey Dillon is only 44. Bet he's well rested. Bet they sign either him or Benjarvus Green-Ellis.

How long until Lamar Miller goes down with an injury for several games and they act like they couldn't have possibly seen it coming?

Unfortunately its August so the options are slim to none. Riddick had 61 catches last season, he would’ve been a nice addition with or without Foreman.

It’s August and two prime RB’s are holding out with one demanding a trade, we have cap space, it’s dark, and we’re wearing sunglasses......
