none of this nonsense explains why “Melo has been blackballed for non-basketball reasons, and that’s why no other team has picked him up”...try again

No GM is going to pass on picking up an inexpensive player with star-level skills just because another team "made him look bad." GMs' jobs are on the line, and if they see a move that will make their team better, what the hell do they care what Daryl Morey thinks?

Melo isn't on an NBA team because his ego-to-modern-skill ratio is way out of whack. If he wants back in, he needs to adjust the ratio a LOT, then go somewhere (China?) and demonstrate it. Otherwise, he'll be doing his farewell tour in sports bars.

What do they have in common? They still want the spotlight, but nobody wants to hire them.

Time marches on. Adapt or wither.

Lol at other teams black balling a player on behalf of “our” front office. I wish we had clout like that.

If true, the situation was handled poorly.

Yeah I have the same feeling that they did him wrong. He was not playing like in his prime, but he still could put up 12 pts per game for us. He definitely should have been in 9 man rotation.

He was not efficient in the slightest and he did not play any defense.

In what way did the Rockets do him wrong? He’s Gerald Green at this point.

Hogwash. No NBA team pursues a player all offseason then cuts him after 10 games. That's common sense. The whole team was playing horrible, including Harden & CP. Melo had absolutely no ego issues, no altercations or problems after 10 games. You're just projecting your foolish perceptions of what you think could've happened. Melo thinks it was deeper than basketball, and I believe him

Fun fact. As bad as you may make Melo seem, his numbers were BETTER than Eric Gordon's coming off the bench. So the washed up narrative isn't adding up

He's been blackballed. The reason he's not in the league has nothing to do with his basketball talent. It's political

Keep believing all that. You been... HYPNOTIZED!

Either that or you don't know what you're talking about. Believing Carmelo Anthony, who's always been ego-driven = bad idea

Could be a number of reasons. You really believe the league hasn't blackballed players before? It's happened before Melo will happen after. What rock have you been living under?

You don't chase a guy down for 3yrs, make him accept his role before signing him, then cut him cold turkey after 10 games

It's not what I believe it's fact. Give me ONE source reporting Melo's ego being a problem here. You're just projecting based on old reports from 2016. You have nothing of substance

so u can’t even provide 1 plausible reason why he’s been blackballed all of the sudden by the entire league

    next...

That is what common sense would tell us rite?

It never happens until it happens. Why do We assume the worst of Melo? Wonder why, I thought MDA was talking Olympic Hoodie Melo.

Thing is we’ll never know, never given him a chance, the team was in bad shape overall after 10 what games.

First McHale, then Melo, I just dun like how they seem to search for a scapegoat after a bad start, it is sickening though, even if those are people you can live without.
