Clippers spend $40 million on bench players. Nuggets spend $42 million on bench players. Rockets spend $13 million so far on bench. Clippers and Nuggets are likely to take over top 2 seeds in the regular season.
What is the most needed to improve?
    1. Bench
    2. 3-point accuracy
    3. Defensive Assistant Coach or team defense
    4. Rebounding (last year bottom 5 in the nba?)
    5. Pace (last year bottom 5 in the nba?)
    6. Anything else
    https://spacecityscoop.com/2019/07/30/rockets-load-management-james-harden-russell-westbrook/
On Tuesday, Rockets GM Daryl Morey discussed potentially putting both James Harden and Russell Westbrook on a load management program to keep them fresh for the postseason.

Jazz have a good bench. Lakers and GS are likely to take over 5 and 6 seeds.

    Power forward.

A legit good power forward almost solves anything.

    Load management?

    Harden: Ey P! I'm a Hooper what's that?

That reminds me of Carmelos attitude.

According to whom? You make these pronouncements as if they're facts. Not one of these teams finishing where you say they will is "likely."

I liked 30 years old Ed Davis. Morey signed 37 years old Tyson Chandler to save 2 million dollars.

I liked 32 years old Jeff Green at vet vin, Morey signed McLemore.

Tilman has 5000 Million dollars, 2 million is not a problem.

    Jazz signed both.

Morey can use BAE to sign House. Partial MLE to sign Ed Davis.

Intensity/maintaining focus - no getting lazy and just chucking, lazy passes leading to turnovers... or hanging out at midcourt...
Consistent defensive effort - its improved but still spotty...
Put personnel on the floor that can box out and rebound
load mgmt... screw MDAs short rotations...
developing players... again screw MDAs short rotations...
    defensive coach...
True PF - maybe Bennett will work out... PJ needs to split time tween SF and Pf - imo...

This will solidify the roster and rotations

Move Eric Gordon so playing time is a nonissue. To many people are the same size with similar skill sets.

MDA has to make his own role players from the roster. He will have to develop them to trust them. Expand the rotations to help with develop and not put them on the end of the bench when they aren’t perfect.

A firm understanding this is Harden’s team. Ride or Die

    2. An unsticky ball.
    3. JH playing off the ball at the 3 point line
    4. RW playing off the ball at the rim

westbrook's shot and inefficiency above all else. everything else won't matter if this doesn't improve significantly

240 total minutes in a game...

    Westbrook 32
    Harden 32
    Gordon 29
    Tucker 29
    Capela 30

    House 25
    Rivers 25
    Green/McLemore/Bennett/Clark 20
    Chandler/Hartenstein 18

That 20 minutes makes me nervous. I would love a dependable PF to get those minutes.

A good combo forward …. or two..

Wish we could clone PJ Tucker and make one of him 3-4 inches taller , that solves everything.

If House and Rivers step up, our only issue will be rebounding.
