Kamala is failing because she is lying in real time. Her healthcare bill is trash and she knows it. These guys have no clue and aren't passionate about healthcare and it is coming through when being challenged. CNN was right to split up Bernie/Warren and Biden/Kamala. Bernie and Warren would have cremated these guys.
And this is an important factor as far as the nominee. I believe that health care was the most important issue for the Democrats big gains in 2018. The Democrats need to push the health care issue hard for 2020. It will hurt if they don't have a candidate that can hit it hard and strong.
Whenever Biden starts to talk, he starts off strong, like he is about to say something, then he trails off and looks as if he forgets what he was talking about then looks at Jake to save him by cutting him off.

Julian Castro is lame with this take: "I want to decriminalize crossing the border without permission but it's a right wing talking point to say "open borders."" How is it anything but open borders to say anyone can cross at any time without repercussion?
Credit to Biden for being one of the only democrats who responds effectively to this false equivalency between crossing the border and asylum seekers. They say "It's wrong to arrest asylum seekers so we need to decriminalize border crossing!" Ridiculous.
It also seems pretty stupid to NOT consider whether voters like or dislike an idea before creating a campaign based on it. It especially seems terrible to not even consider WHY they might not like an idea and not even try to address it. This isn't true at all.
There is a high probability that I will vote Democrat for president this cycle which blows me away, but that is HIGHLY dependent on who the candidate is. There is zero chance I'm voting for someone who wants open borders, that's silly.
Democratic candidates are just bad! None of them are ready for prime time. Bunch of president wannabes truly they are.
