I hear MDA to accommodate WB and Harden is considering an new offensive scheme, it's the 170 shots or more offense. Any shot is fair game, half court, eyes closed, even shots on the basket you're defending. You only miss the shots you don't take.

All I can say is that it will be interesting to see if James runs. Westbrook is going to go. Capela and Gordon will go with him. Tucker may try. I just don't know what Harden is going to do but it would be nice to see him running and flying again.

this is going to help us tremendously. the ability to actually run a fast break.

the first year with CP3 the league had to adjust to us and CP3+Harden Pairing was still an unknown. we had SO many blow outs that year. Last year we had to start to adjust to the league as they quickly got game tape on us and we didn't have many blow outs this year. so many close games and harden, in particular, had to work hard for every bucket.

i, for one, am expecting that we will blow teams out again and our new found duo is the perfect mix fast+slow to keep teams unbalanced.

If the question is how fast can we turn it over or how fast can we get under the luxury tax, I'll roll with "or less".

Nah, he just needs to run for Harden.

Same goes for everyone not named Harden.

Hasn’t Houston been playing a faster pace the 7 seconds or less since in d’antoni has been here?

    Welcome back to early offense.

Teams won't know if Rockets running or iso'ing when the 2 MVPS play together.

    So you're saying it's a 7 players or less offense? :D

I hope Westbrook does more of his coast to coast one man fast break. The rest of the team, especially Harden can take some breathers staying in the back court.

I hope you're right on this. I am definitely concerned about TOs. That was one way in which CP3 really helped - the ability to help the Rockets keep TOs down and still generate offense, in contrast to Harden. I will be amazed if team turnovers can be kept in check with the offense built around two high-turnover guards.

There is no way Tucker or Chandler could play the minutes he has in past at that pace. Coach would expands the rotation???

No Harden runs the 20 seconds or more offense

This is the only way I see of maximizing westbrook's presence without him miraculously learning to shoot more efficiently.

We already have the 7 second offense.

Seven seconds left, time to jack a contested shot.
