    June 21st he was .235 after going 1-9 his first two games returning from injury.

    He's batting .394 in July including his 3-3 today.

    His delivery looks particularly overhand tonight. Very 12-to-6 arm motion. I think that's why some of his balls are going hard straight into the dirt. But also, as Blum said, he's pulling down through that slider much more, and that's sucker is dropping like a stone from a very high release point. That's why these inside sliders are making lefties look really bad at the plate tonight.

    Edit: ...like he just did to Ramirez. Nasty.

    It still baffles me that we got this guy August 31st and rode him to a championship. Probably why the rules changed lol. I’d let him pitch the 8th.
