with russ's added rebounding, i wonder if clint still on the board for a big SF/PF upgrade and center fill in. or we flip ego for a sf/pf upgrade but ego wont be worth as much so the upgrade might not be as good. im anxious to see what else moreys got up his sleeve

I like the idea of adding Aaron Gordon but I would rather give up EG. Plus Orlando has too many bigs already.
We do need size and versatility at the forward spots if we have plans to compete for a championship.
We will have to match up with the likes of
    AD/ King James
    The Claw/ PG13
    Greek Freaky/ Middleton
    Process/ T Harris/ Horford
plus centers like with the Jazz and Denver

We also need to get a younger star that can grow into a larger role as Westbrook and Harden age
I also could see going after
    Jaylen Brown
    Kuzman

he said he'd pay for players who are "worth it"

according to a source iggy is considered "worth it"

I'd say others on that list match Iggy's price and skill level. so maybe they are deemed worth it too. however they don't come with his flashy name and accolades. acquiring him would garner so much unwarranted media hype so its a tilman type move. if we acquired covington, ESPN would say nothing. but if we get iggy all of a sudden its a huge move worth talking about on all the sports talk shows.

How crucial is this in playoffs?

    My thought

Both teams without iguodala, rockets win in 6.

Lakers with iguodala, Lakers win in 6

Rockets with iguodala, rockets win in 4.

If that’s the criteria Fertitta gives Morey for an acquisition, we’re fooked. Not that I’m against getting Iggy, although he has to start slowing down soon and would carry a large paycheck, but that our new owner could have an obsession with media relations that transcends what might make sense on the court.

If you watch the rox players on the court when House shoots, you see they have confidence in it going in. Also James looked for him to make plays when they played together. Lot of respect from the vets.

Iggy is easily getting injured or having a slew of mediocre games.....wouldn't bet on his 36 yr old self.

Fellas treating him like he is 28 yr old Draymond.

Im sure toronto wants to trade one of their best players for a pick and roll center.

And orlando has vucevic and bamba. Why would they want capela? Do you people actially think before you type this nonsense.

yeah i'm worried he wants the media splash. get fans excited to add a finals MVP. drive up prices.

doesn't matter he's 35 and coming off an achilles injury. doesn't matter that he makes twice as much as just paying the MLE for someone like aminu or carroll, or morris. doesn't matter than trading requires spending assets while signing a FA doesn't.

i said this back at the start of FA and i'll say it again, we should've spent the MLE even if it hard capped us. tilman isn't going over that salary number anyway.

Yes it is, I put them in order.....Really it is:

House and Clark - two young developing players, one more offensive and the other more steady defense......just have to let them play through their mistakes.....

Green is just an energy scorer when needed...the 10th man so to speak.

I’m not high in Iggy either due to his age and recent injury concerns.

If it is a playoff game 6 or 7, 4th quarter, do you want House or Iggy in the game? Playoffs are all that really matters at this point. I like House a lot, but some guys always fold under playoff pressure. An old Iggy can still be trusted to make smart winning plays. He is playoff proven.

Hopefully House steps up this year(playoffs), but I would like an insurance policy at the 3/4 in case he doesn’t.

We gonna have to sell him Texas hard. If he gets bought out. If he wants to go to LA. He can either play with Lebron or play against him. And have a lesser load in clippers. He’s going to have to play a lot in Houston which might draw him more to clippers who have strong wing depth
