    confirmed Financial problem.

TMZ Sports reported the news, citing court documents that reveal Mayo hasn't made a payment on the house since April and still owes more than $1.1 million on the mortgage.

As a result, the bank foreclosed the house the USC product bought with the help of a $1.26 million loan and attempted to serve him with court documents multiple times.

"Eventually, Mayo's trainer told a process server that O.J. is currently playing overseas in China," TMZ wrote.

According to Spotrac, Mayo made more than $45 million during his eight seasons in the league.

He was the No. 3 overall pick in the 2008 draft and played for the Memphis Grizzlies

Will he be chased down for the cash? Mayo is now living in China, playing basketball with Hunan Jinjian Miye, according to Court Side.

Mayo isn't the only former NBA player to lose his River Hills mansion due to financial difficulties: Milwaukee native Latrell Sprewell—who played for the New York Knicks, Golden State Warriors, and Minnesota Timberwolves—lost his in 2008, according to Madison.com.

Not sure why you wouldn't pay off a measly $1million house when you've made more than $40+mil over your NBA career.

Besides terrible money management I guess those players lose sight of the value of money when you make that type of money that fast.

Oh well, I'm sure he's going to apply for government assistance or something. He'll be fine

The home is $1.8 million? I don't understand how a guy like Mayo even needs a loan for it. Crazy.

So many players need some basic financial guidance.

That is likely the remaining balance of the mortgage. Houses in Cali are often multi million.

It's a home in Milwaukee and the story says it's $1.8 million.

Here's what we know ... O.J. bought a $1.8 million home in Wisconsin after inking a 3-year, $24 million deal with the Bucks in 2013. At the time, Mayo took out a loan for $1.26 million to help pay for the crib.

The place is SICK -- 9,200 square feet with 5 bedrooms, 4.5 baths, home theater and private gym.

But, according to court docs obtained by TMZ Sports ... Mayo stopped making payments in April 2018 while still owing $1,137,302.42 on his mortgage.

A few months later, the bank foreclosed on the house to get their dough back.

Feel bad for O.J. because of a drug ban felt like he got punished too hard for what he did. Was it a 3 year ban? That’s all of his prime years. Nba commissioner really shoved something up his ass.

Why do you feel bad for him? Dude was the 3rd overall pick, made a lot of money in the nba, took a banned substance, and didnt want to pay off his house, and you feel bad for him...?

What about Antoine Walker, you feel bad for him too?

Thanks man, you dont have to though.

I dont like the people who live lavishly day in and day out like itll last forever with no consequences. Spending money in one night that a family could live off of for a month or even a year. Doing things everyday and carrying on a lifestyle that normal people only fantasize about. That, I dont feel sorry for. If you want to, good for you. I feel bad for the people starving on those downtown corners while he was popping bottles in da club. Plenty of sympathy, not a whole lot of hate.
