Yeah but why only 1 knee? This means that knee is bothering him thats why he is icing it. If he was icing both then its not an issue cuz why would someone injure both knees at the same time? I think what happens is we dont put our weight on our legs evenly, we favor one leg over the other and in Harden's case the effect is more pronounced because he is an athlete. He may not be injured but it may be sign age is catching up to him.
I've seen athletes do interviews with ice packs on all the time. It's just good anti-inflammation body maintenance. I'm not saying with any certainty, but this seems like he's just trying to treat his body right.
