The vast majority of really fat people that are older than 25 or older look like that when they lose a lot of weight, especially if their body isn’t meant to be really thin. It is the loose skin... especially in the face, just a little loose skin is very obvious.
I was "meh" with the trailer but that's fine with me, I don't want anything spoiled, planning to see it when they have their Fanthom Event screenings in October and will watch it again when they do their road show here at River Oaks but not spending $750 for the VIP access I was pretty hyped to see Affleck in the trailer, warms my heart they ended their fallout Saw her at Comicpalooza 2 years ago, she's still smoking, her and Eliza Dushku have not aged.....
Huge fan of Kevin Smith but this trailer was awful. I have no doubt this is going to suck which is sad.
I think middle age can be especially depressing when a formerly mildly creative person realizes he hasn't had a new idea in like two decades.
Fwiw, he has been pretty successful, he has multiple Podcasts, his Comic Book Men series lasted way longer than expected at 7 seasons, he tours for his QAs yearly, guest directs on plenty of shows, writes a few comic book series, and so on. My understanding it'll have a Fanthom event run for 2 nights, 1 night a double features with Strike Back, then one night by itself in October, his tour around the US with QAs for a month and half, then a possible wide release later on Judging from his past films that was released, I only recall only Red State and Yoga Hosers did not get a wide release. If "I Got the Hook Up 2" got a theatrical release, Reboot should get one also....
As you people are having your negative crap fest about Kevin Smith and his movies. Watch this it will make you feel better and cheer you up a bit.
Uh spoiler- these guys talk about their beloved dogs dying terribly and crying about it. Not really a cheer you up a bit video.
Yeah it's super sad. I was annoyed with people crapping on Kevin Smith. He always seemed like a good dude.
