Yea let’s just throw House out there instead of Gordon in the playoffs. Memphis guy is smoking thinking we would trade Gordon for iggy.

 

I don't think so. We have about a two year window to potentially win a championship. Eric Gordon is a lot more likely to help us get there than Iggy and a top 5 pick. After that window I'd absolutely do it. But right now every move we make needs to be with building a championship contender in mind. There are no other priorities.

I'm proud of @what for starting his very own blog, but I don't think we need to post all of his insane ramblings. Bandwidth is a commodity after all.

 

To be fair. Most fans are delusional homers, regardless of which team. The tendency is grossly overvaluing their own team's players. I mean, look at some trade proposals here on CF. And look at how Westbrook suddenly transformed from a stat-padding overrated pseudo-star to an MVP caliber superstar just by joining our team.

On the flip side, fans also tend to have irrational hatred toward some of their own players because of unrealistic expectations.

 

No young player for Iggy.

Only old veterans.

 

Wonder what high means like they asking for a 1st round pick or something?

 

We could have absorbed over 9 million of his salary through that trade, I'm guessing we were likely offering multiple seconds with Shump S&T'd at around 8 mill of salary. Grizz are fools for passing on that, perhaps they have a fallback offer of Harkless + fillers that they will pull the trigger on before the season starts.

 

i want memphis to keep him until he has very little worth and their greedy asses get almost nothing for him and have to pay 17 mil too. Greed took over the grizzlies front office and i hope it backfires on them

 

If EG played no defense I'd understand.
But he actually plays well on D and sometimes damn well, and he's definitely younger than Iggy, and is a much better shooter.
