Welp, there goes his ACL and our 2019-20 season. Seriously, this dude doesn't even have a backup for this upcoming season, dudes gonna be playing 35 mpg again. At this rate he’s gonna burn off all his THICC-nes come playoff time.
He'll want nicer shoes. In all seriousness, I'm going to burn a devotional candle to bless all of the multitude of body parts he can rip up playing in this thing, and which would utterly screw the Rockets if it, God forbid, happened. Seriously, who would take his minutes? Hartenstein? Chandler? Ugh. I hope he has a blast, and that he gathers no end of glory.
He needs to take this once in a lifetime opportunity and check it off the bucket list. Good for him; Tomorrow is not promised.
someone's gotta stay and recruit. seriously though its something PJ deserves and probably will never have a chance to do again. James did it he can pass. gordon I think participated in the practice last summer. also guys who participate tent to have better years following playing/practicing with team USA. they stay sharp over the summer. not sure if that's a good thing at 35 for PJ but we'll see.
Huh, I would've guessed the opposite, based on what the World Baseball Classic does to guys returning to MLB. Bregman took awhile to get back to normal, IIRC, and so did Roy O. Different sports, but it's still a change in their routine. Do you know if injury rates rose for FIBA events players vs guys who sat it out? Wasn't that one of the reasons Yao broke down earlier than expected, because the Chinese basketball federation constantly kept him playing for their squad?
His role wont change much. Harden and gordon need to stay home with Russ for a summer of learning how to be the greatest backcourt of all time.
Pop really needs all these people to win? Rudy T was coaching CBA players and Brad Miller to victories. C'mon.
that's true about Yao but you have to consider the travel (he wasn't flying to Vegas he was going to china) and he was 7'5!!! those guys don't play 20 years to begin with.
