Your opinion is basically roll over and let GS have its way with the league until they don't. Of course your opinion is welcome, but Harden is balling out right now. You never know what might happen in the future.

If we don't try and compete now, we might as well tank. Because mediocrity shouldn't be an option.

Related to some posts I've seen in here:

I know a ton of people here seem to be irrationally salty about Morey for some reason, but firing him anytime soon would be a mistake... He has worked wonders for us, and is a huge part of why this team is even as good as it is right now. Would be incredibly short sighted to blame him for a weak Rockets trade season.

I was thinking they slip a bit because of losing record for years.

It’s really not, that’s just you putting words in my mouth.

And? So we should sign another Ryan Anderson type of contract because Harden is having a historic season?

Only Sith deal in absolutes. Mediocrity is the definition of slightly above average, we have been injured and not mediocre this season.

Thunder has advantage on Four future first round picks. If Morey deals 2 more First round picks, future looks bad.

I’ve always wondered how much a championship adds to the profits and the value of a team—directly after winning and several years into the future. When owners say they are willing to spend into the tax for a contender, it’s certainly for profit, primarily, not for kicks. I’ve never seen anything written about the actual impact though.

    I don't understand debt/value ratio.

GS 23% (loan 0.8B for chase center?)
    Rockets 8%

GS purchased 0.35B 7 years ago. Now it is worth 3.5B.
    Rockets purchased 2.00B

Could be that the other teams are so close in profits as well and Rockets pay less taxes?

As a player, I can tell you that there is a lot more value to a sports team than just your numbers across your spread sheets.

Hard work, motivation, determination, will, and drive.

Texans have fallen from grace, they were valued as a top ten franchise in all of sports once.
