I remember hearing about his title and it being made fun of on a Simmons podcast. And now I’m reading people saying “he should take his own advice.” From the excerpt above, isn’t he implying that a challenge he faced was to move out of the way and let the basketball people make basketball decisions. In other words, he had to “shut up and listen”. In which case, it’s the opposite as to what people are making it appear.
Come on: this board is full of basketball geniuses, not reading geniuses. The thread title doesn't even quote the book title correctly. Give the kids a break.
Aw, sorry not to hate the owner and Westbrook. Does this count as me "following you around"? Learn to read.
This would be the last book I read and that's at the end of a very very long list that I will never get to
Awesome I got a wisdom tooth that is killing me. This made me laugh so hard I for got i was hurting Lol cautiously though
This is the internet. People on here most likely don't read articles past the title, much less books.
it's not like he really wrote the book himself. If anyone buys it, let us know if the attitude of the title is the same as the contents.
"just shut up and listen to my chopper roar, i've got one for each of your ears that's how rich i am!" fuking new money trash
Not only do they not read so well they also have short memories. Le$ rarely went into luxury tax, I saw someone say he did twice in all his years of ownership that the luxury tax was a rule. I know when Le$ did it go over it was barely over and quickly rectified. I for one believe Tilman has given Morey the go ahead to spend over if he see the right player(s). Morey will when the numbers support the overage. But let the Tilman hate run wild, just like we had the hate for the lack of "fireworks" this off season, just like we had the Melo crazy last off season. I'll wait and see how the Westbrook/Harden pairing works even though I am not a Westbrook fan. Go Rockets
Some of the posters in this thread were hating on Les Alexander too, before they hated Tilman Fertitta: http://bbs.clutchfans.net/index.php...hed-teams-would-the-rockets-be-better.262733/ They were longing for Mark Cuban! In other words, some of these posters have been hating on the Rockets owner every day of CF's existence. Fun people.
So do most of us, @Invisible Fan. As for his book? Well woop-de-damn-do. My sister writes romance novels, and my guess is that they are far more exciting than this will be.
