How would you rank our backcourt duos?

I've been thinking about this and then saw that Screamin' A ranked our starting backcourt 5th or something in the Isaiah thread—even considering Dame and CJ over what the Rockets have.

How would you all rank the backcourt combinations that the Rockets will be able to put out there against the rest of the league?

    Harden & Westbrook
    Harden & Gordon
    Westbrook & Gordon

I think we have one of the best backcourt rotations as a whole in the league. This isn't even considering Austin Rivers. Personally, I think it was even better with Paul but I will admit there is something exciting to think about with the change of pace WB will bring with the second unit.

    Interesting
    Who is better?
Curry, Thompson, Russell VS Harden, WB, Gordon

Kawhi, George, Beverley (expanded to 3 guard lineup + 2 Bigs)
New NBA model = 2 stretch Bigs + 3 guards

One of, if not the best. Couldn't stop them individually, don't see how you can stop them together. Then again, that's probably my homerism talking.

Paul has lost his quickness. I don't see "better with Paul" thing.

GS are good comparison. I think DLo is a better player than Gordon because left-handed DLo is quicker.
Kawhi is not guard unless it is expanded.

The only other team that could challenge us for the best backcourt rotation would be GS because of their shooting. At best we’re first at worst we’re second. I think we’re the best especially if you’re talking about one on one. Harden and WB would destroy klay and steph in a two on two game.

If we're talking offensively, we are the best. We are even more versatile now that we can run and play half-court as well as we have been. Defensively, Kawhi, PG, and Beverly (crazy to even think about - I'm actually excited to see their defense).

Paul lost a step in an iso offense, yes. In an offense with movement, his IQ and efficiency are still better than most. He was in the top 10 of PGs last season when it came to efficiency I believe. When he was running with the second unit the offense looked great and he was still a better defender than WB.

I like that someone spent a great deal of time on this but they're still wearing different jerseys.

    True:
Paul's IQ and efficiency are still better.
    False:
Paul defense will be unwatchable because he loses his quickness. Speed is the most important factor on defense.

Only in Houston can you have 2 of the last 3 MVPs and not be the best backcourt in the league. What are we even talking about? The Rockets easily have the best backcourt in the league and it’s not even close. Imagine how much the media would love us if we were in one of there beloved markets..

    Backcourt or just duos?

    Cause kwahi, lbj,ad cant count.

    Backcourt tandems:
    1.splash bros:curry n klay(out of respect n length together)

    2. Brodie and the beard(have to see it together) I was one of the first that said get Westbrook. But all.my takes I try to be nba fan first n be objective. As much as I wanted him we ain't seen it.

    3.mamas boys:dame n cj

    4.Connelly n Mitchell

There is no way Curry and Thompson are better than Harden and Westbrook. I mean they played with 2/3 other all stars at all times..

Come on bro I hate the warriors...but as a basketball.fan. both guys are going into the hall of fame. N gonna play their whole career together. That's like saying u getting the bill russell award when u when a chip. It's never gonna be a duo like that. Not just the rings but the Longevity. Again out of respect I put them 1. Doesnt mean I dont think harden n west would.lose to them.
