I'm tired of these trolls bro. You're right though. I guess it's just the hood in me. I'll let it go.
Basketball and charity are two different things, IIRC Jordan was a petty and sad sack bully who ended a rook's career just cuz he dunked on him but people still see him as the GOAT. None of those other posters are insulting CP3 they are just calling him overpaid which has nothing to do with the good he is doing in the community. Here is Dwight Howard's foundation winning the 2014 Kia Community Award for his "Block Out Violence" Campaign in Houston. Where's your kind words and praise for D12? https://www.nba.com/rockets/community-assist-award-dwight-howard People have been calling players overpaid since they started getting superstar money. It has nothing to do with envy, its the fact that bloated contracts cripple the team's ability to sign someone else. If Cp3 really wanted a ring he should've taken a discount just like KD and Lebron. Hell even Melo took less to be in the Rockets. Obv he deserves all the money he can get but if he is taking advantage of all his rights as a professional then everyone also has the right to call him overpaid and one of the most toxic contracts in the league and the team also has a right to trade him somwhere else. Cp3's making millions of dollars he isnt exactly a pitiful human being lmao.
I agree, teams can win despite the locker room. But no doubt CP3's locker room history is a negative.
Alright man, don’t play coy if you are gonna say stuff like “why make an ode to Cp, it’s unnecessary”and then say something negative when another sports writer is praising, I’m gonna have to assume that you are being unnecessarily negative, this thread wasnt meant for you then.
And was still a positive one the court regular season and playoffs. What you fail to understand is that his contract had no affect on anything FA wise so you have no reason to complain, it just looks like you are counting another dude’s money which is lame.
Real positive missing 20+ games. Seeding is so crucial in the West unfortunately. All 82 games count.
People don’t control injuries and he was there for all the games in the POs which is what matters, at some point we were gonna have to play GS. You wanna do petty blaming fine, Harden should not have missed the FT.
You wanna compare missing free throws to not being durable throughout the season? (actually missed 20+ games both seasons here)That's petty my friend
This thread is another recent reminder that some people just don't seem to have a happy medium; someone / something is basically either Mother Theresa or Adolf Hitler.
Dude people can’t control injuries , thats way more petty. People mostly aren’t in control of that. Either way blaming Harden/Cp for stuff like that is unnecessary, get what I mean? Man all the negative stuff has been done ad nauseum. It’s not like I don’t achknowledge that he let us down in the GS series, I absolutely do.
I just dont see how anyone can agree that we were better off with Cp3. Whether its money, age, injury history or locker room issues, it wasnt working. Despite what all the Harden haters say, WB was the best move to make for morale and for the future (as unexpected as it may have been with PG leaving). Harden was one bad season away (maybe even half a season) from wanting out.
